Compliance & Registered Agent Services
At Strategic Financial Reporting (SFR), we make state compliance easy and stress-free with our Compliance and Registered Agent Services. Our annual subscription package is designed to simplify your business’ state filing requirements, including Annual Reports and Statement of Information filings, so you never have to track deadlines or handle filings on your own. Whether you need full-service compliance support or a reliable Registered Agent in California or other states, SFR provides proactive, dependable service to help you stay in good standing and focused on what matters most—running your business.
What's Included in the Annual Compliance Services Package:
By subscribing, you grant SFR permission to prepare and submit all standard annual state filings for you. Our services include:
1. Statement of Information(SOI)
2. Annual Report (AR)
3. Consolidated Compliance Tracking & Filing Coordination
After submission, you will receive a copy of each filed report for your records.
How It Works:
Step 1: Simple Annual Pricing
Pay one flat fee per entity, per state — no surprises.

1. Compliance Filing Services: $160/year
2. Registered Agent (California): $150/year
3. Out-of-State Registered Agent: $300/year per state
Depending on your filing due date, enrollment may require immediate billing. After that, annual billing for this service is automatically processed each August.

Step 2: Secure Filing Fee Payments

We’ll need a copy of your business credit card on file to pay state-required Annual Report fees.
1. You’ll always be notified before any charges are made
2. You’ll get a receipt after each filing
3. This card is only used for state fees — not our service fees unless you request otherwise

Step 3: We Take It From Here

When your report is due, we’ll:
1. Send you a quick heads-up with the filing details (24 hours in advance)
2. File the report on your behalf
3. Send you confirmation with a copy of the submission and receipt

Easy, done, and off your plate.
What's Included in the Registered Agent Services Package:
By subscribing, you authorize SFR to act as your Registered Agent of Service.

An Agent of Service (also called a Registered Agent) is a person or company officially designated to receive legal documents on behalf of a business. This includes things like:
1. Lawsuits (a.k.a. service of process)
2. Government correspondence (such as tax notices)
3. Compliance reminders (like annual report deadlines)

You are not required to subscribe to Registered Agent services to receive Compliance Services. If you reside in the same state as the business, you may serve as your Registered Agent. Alternatively, you can designate another individual or use a professional registered agent service.

Who Can Be a Registered Agent in California?
1. The business owner or officer (must have a physical address in the same state)
2. A designated employee or individual residing in the state
3. A professional registered agent service (like SFR!)

Important Update: Reminders Are Now Exclusive to Subscribers
To keep things streamlined and reliable, we no longer send filing reminders or provide one-off filing help unless you are enrolled in our Compliance Services package. This helps us stay organized and gives you confidence that nothing will slip through the cracks.

Additional Filings or Nexus in Other States?
If you have business activity or nexus in other states, let us know! We’ll include those jurisdictions in your compliance review, coordinate the necessary filings, and make sure everything lines up correctly for your tax returns.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs):

A required annual filing that provides updated details about your company, such as officers, addresses, and agent of service.
